JINFER is proud to announce that FLEXI-GRIP has received the 2026 Red Dot Award for its product design.![]()
Developed by the JINFER R&D department in 2025, FLEXI-GRIP is a fixing system for glass railing systems. A patent application has also been submitted for the product.The design of FLEXI-GRIP focuses on several practical requirements within glass railing installation: precise glass alignment, glass protection, convenient adjustment and integrated LED lighting.
Rather than adding separate solutions for each requirement, FLEXI-GRIP incorporates these considerations directly into the product design.This integrated approach is at the heart of the product.
One of the key design features of FLEXI-GRIP is its integrated moulded design.After the glass is inserted, the two screws on the left side of the product can be adjusted. This causes the upper and lower wedge blocks to shift, allowing the glass to be precisely aligned.

The adjustment mechanism is designed around a simple movement:Insert the glass → adjust the two screws → move the upper and lower wedge blocks → achieve precise glass alignment.By placing the adjustment mechanism on the side of the product, FLEXI-GRIP enables the glass to be adjusted from within the railing.
According to the product design concept, this adjustment method is intended to make installation faster while also supporting safer and more reliable installation.The result is a fixing system in which the adjustment function is directly integrated into the product rather than treated as a separate installation step.
Another distinctive element of FLEXI-GRIP is the recess designed into the base for LED light strips.
This feature came from JINFER's observations of market requirements through repeated communication with customers and industry contacts at exhibitions in Europe and America.
Rather than treating lighting as an additional accessory, FLEXI-GRIP incorporates a dedicated space for the LED strip directly into the fixing system.
The hollowed-out recess at the base is designed to accommodate LED light strips beneath aluminium profile railings.The recess provides space for secure LED strip installation while also providing structural support.
According to the product design, the recessed structure helps prevent damage caused by prolonged pressure from the glass and allows the illumination to remain visible.
This creates another example of the product's integrated design philosophy: a functional requirement is incorporated into the structure of the product itself.
The development of FLEXI-GRIP was closely connected to JINFER's understanding of user requirements.The product introduction specifically describes the design as user-centred, particularly in relation to glass protection and installation.The LED recess also came from observations of market demand through communication with customers and industry contacts.
